TOMB RAIDER & X-MEN: FIRST CLASS

  • NEW TOMB RAIDER

Seems that GK films are ready to move forward with the new Tomb Raider film, as they have hired writers to start writing out the script, according to Deadline.

Iron Man screenwriters Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby will be writing the script, for the sexy action hero, Lara Croft.

The pair have also worked on the big blockbuster movie, that will hit our cinemas pretty soon, Cowboys & Aliens.

With the writers therefore set, GK Films will now have to set about the onerous task of finding an actress, that will have big boots to fill, as the beautiful Angelina Jolie will not be reprising her role as the title character.

  • WOLVERINE MIGHT VISIT THE X-MEN

Bryan Singer, the producer of X-Men: First Class, has indicated that there is a possible future for wolverine in the new First Class trilogy.

The First Class

Speaking exclusively to IGN, Singer explains, "I think there would definitely be room. I think it would be a very exciting thing. This universe has to establish itself before, but that would be a very interesting and fun thing."

Wolverine - Hugh Jackman
As this is the first X-Men film without the hugely popular Wolverine character, Bryan Singer explained why he doesn’t have any fears about the success of this film. "It's a completely different film. Xavier and Magneto are important characters as well. It's just a different X-Men film. I obviously love the character, but you can't not do it just because he's not in it."
