• TRON 3 IN THE WORKS

For a while we have been hearing that Disney was planning a third installment in the Tron franchise, yet we were still unsure whether we would see a third film become reality, until now.

Disney has hired David DiGilio to pen the next entry.  DiGilio started his writing career with Disney, writing the script for the film Eight Below.

With a visual blueprint of the world of TRON already created, THR says the studio will be able to keep the production costs down.

No word yet as to when DiGilio needs to have the next TRON completed. It's also too soon to tell if Joseph Kosinski will be back to direct.

The Devil May Cry movie will be based on the forthcoming Devil May Cry prequel video game entitled, DmC.

In a press release, Capcom and Screen Gems have announced that the Devil May Cry film will be based on the new game.

It makes a lot of sense, since the upcoming game will serve as an origin story for the franchise's main protagonist, Dante. Half-demon, Dante uses his superhuman abilities to slay devils and other supernatural beings, hoping to avenge the death of his mother.
