UNTITLED AYKROYD/CHASE FILM (In Development)

  • AYKROYD LOOKS TO CHASE A COMEDY FILM

Aykroyd and Chase
Dan Aykroyd and Chevy Chase have plans to re-team for a new comedy, Aykroyd revealed on his Facebook page.

"Chevy (Chase) and I are about to start work on a script concept for a comedy movie," he writes. "Cannot say too much about the concept, but the joy of working with him again is one that I am extremely excited about. Chevy is one of my favourite people, and one of the great anarchistic and physically committed comedians in the business."

Both comedians began their careers on "Saturday Night Live" and, over the years, have teamed for a number of film projects, including John Landis' Spies Like Us and Aykroyd's sole directing credit, 1991's Nothing But Trouble.

At the moment, details are few as to what form the new Aykroyd/Chase project might take, but we will keep you up to date with all the latest.

We just thinking with Bill Murrays recent refusal to even read the script for Ghostbusters 3, could Akroyd be giving up entirely on the project or has it just been pushed back a little just to make some adjustments to accommodate a film without Peter Venkman (Bill Murray's Character).
