Seth MacFarlane's western comedy A Million Ways to Die in
the West looks to have found a leading lady in Prometheus and Snow White and
the Huntsman star Charlize Theron. The Hollywood Reporter says that Theron
would play the wife of a famous outlaw with whom the male lead begins to fall
in love.
Here is how Heat Vision summarizes the plot:
['A Million Ways...']
follows a sheepish farmer who chickens out of a gunfight and sees his
girlfriend leave him. When he meets the wife of a notorious outlaw who offers
to teach him how to shoot, the farmer at first sees a chance to win back his
love but slowly falls for the woman. Complications ensue when the outlaw
returns and reclaims his woman.
The project reunites MacFarlane with his Ted screenwriters
Alex Sulkin and Wellesley Wild. MacFarlane also plans to star although it’s
unclear whether or not he'll be playing the male lead.
