Superman: Man of Steel & The Brothers Grimm: Snow White

  • LOIS LANE IS A FIGHTER

Oscar nominee Amy Adams has been cast as Lois Lane in the Superman reboot.

Director Zack Snyder revealed that the actress won him over after he had met with her and he felt that she is the perfect person to be playing the independent Daily Planet reporter, Lois Lane, as she embodies all the characters qualities; smart, tough, funny, warm, ambitious and, of course, beautiful.
Zack Snyder also revealed that the, Enchanted & The Fighter, Actress received the news last Sunday.
Amy Adams - Lois Lane (Left) & Superman (Right)

"It goes back to what I've said about Superman and making him really understandable for today. What's important to us is making him relevant and real and making him empathetic to today's audience so that we understand the decisions he makes. That applies to Lois as well. She has to be in the same universe as him [in tone and substance]," said Snyder.

Adams joins a cast that includes Henry Cavill as Superman, Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent and Diane Lane as Martha Kent, and its said that Viggo Mortensen is circling the role of General Zod. ."

In an interview Amy shared her thoughts on the matter, "what I love about Lois Lane is that she's been very consistently strong, successful, independent. I'm very attracted to that. What I loved about her was that she was able to be smart and be feminine and I think that that's something I know I'm going to teach my daughter, that you don't have to be a man to be powerful. You can be a powerful woman."

Clash of the Titans 2 & Chronicles of Narnia: the Magicians Nephew

  • NO PRINCESS IN TITANS

Perseus and the Gang
The Clash of the Titans sequel has went into production, with the plot finally being revealed and the fact that one of the first films’ main characters will not be returning to the film.

Previously the film was reportedly being called Wrath of the Titans but it was called Clash of the Titans 2 in Warner Bros. press release, and will be directed by Jonathan Liebesman (Battle: Los Angeles), and Sam Worthington of course is back as Perseus, but the beautiful Gemma Arterton (Prince of  Persia), who played Io in the first film, apparently will not be back. In a way it does make sense, as her character in the original film was killed off, as to the new ending in last year’s reboot.
Gemma Arterton as Princess Tamina
Liam Neeson, Danny Huston and Ralph Fiennes are all returning to the cast, while Rosamund Pike joins the group as Andromeda (replacing Alexa Davalos from the original), Edgar Ramirez plays Ares, Toby Kebbell takes on Argenor and Bill Nighy is Hephaestus.

The films plot, "A decade after his heroic defeat of the monstrous Kraken, Perseus -- the demigod son of Zeus – is attempting to live a quieter life as a village fisherman and the sole parent to his 10-year old son, Helius. Meanwhile, a struggle for supremacy rages between the gods and the Titans. Dangerously weakened by humanity's lack of devotion, the gods are losing control of the imprisoned Titans and their ferocious leader, Kronos, father of the long-ruling brothers Zeus, Hades and Poseidon. The triumvirate had overthrown their powerful father long ago, leaving him to rot in the gloomy abyss of Tartarus, a dungeon that lies deep within the cavernous underworld. Perseus cannot ignore his true calling when Hades, along with Zeus' godly son, Ares (Edgar Ramírez), switch loyalty and make a deal with Kronos to capture Zeus. The Titans' strength grows stronger as Zeus' remaining godly powers are siphoned, and hell is unleashed on Earth. Enlisting the help of the warrior Queen Andromeda (Rosamund Pike), Poseidon's demigod son, Argenor (Toby Kebbell), and fallen god Hephaestus (Bill Nighy), Perseus bravely embarks on a treacherous quest into the underworld to rescue Zeus, overthrow the Titans and save mankind.

  • THE MAGICIANS NEPHEW

It has been confirmed that there will be a fourth Narnia film, despite the fact that at the box office the franchise has been in decline. The First Narnia film, the Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe, made close to $800 million while the last film, Voyage of the Dawn Treader, only made $300 million.

Reports suggest that it'll be The Magician's Nephew that gets adapted next and not the Silver Chair, which is the next book in the book series.
The Magician's Nephew is a prequel to the first book, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, and deals with the creation of Narnia. . . We read the whole series, and we must say that this story has the potential to be a brilliant film, if its done right!!!

We Finally got it!! Yes we got it!!! The full Captain America trailer! The Quality is not that good but we will get a HD quality trailer in the future but you you will still enjoy this one!! so sit back and relax and let us know what you think of this Avenger movie prequel...
The First Avenger

The Wolverine & Superman: Man of Steel

  • WOLVERINE’S BLACK SWAN FLYS AWAY

Black swan director, Darren Aronofsky, will not be directing the new Wolverine an
after all!
Darren Aronofsky
He stated that his reason for leaving the project is that he would be out of the country for too long. Of course, the film was to largely take place in Japan, so one has to wonder if the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami and the ongoing nuclear concerns in the stricken country played into this decision.

Aronofsky said, "As I talked more about the film with my collaborators at Fox, it became clear that the production of The Wolverine would keep me out of the country for almost a year. I was not comfortable being away from my family for that length of time. I am sad that I won't be able to see the project through, as it is a terrific script and I was very much looking forward to working with my friend, Hugh Jackman, again."

Hugh Jackman and FOX are currently in search for a director once again.

  • THE SUPERMAN WE KNOW & DONT

Zack Snyder has stated that Superman will be redone in a whole new way, but will keep certain elements of the comic character.

The director said, "Literally, the one thing that everyone can start to think about is that we're making a movie that finally goes with the approach that there's been no other Superman movies.
If you look at Batman Begins, there's that structure: there's the canon that we know about and respect, but on other hand there's this approach that pre-supposes that there haven't been any other movies. In every aspect of design and of story, the whole thing is very much from that perspective of 'Respect the canon but don't be a slave to the movies."

He also praised his producer and collaborator on the reboot, Bat-filmmaker Christopher Nolan. Snyder said "there's a great give-and-take about (their relationship), a great conversation that we can have about it and making it better every day. And by the way, he's hilarious too."

TAKEN 2, GHOSTRIDER 2 & AMERICAN PIE REUNION

NO HANIBAL FOR TAKEN
Liam as Hanibal in A-Team
Taken was a quite a small budget film that wasn’t really expected to do well. But this small budget film was smash hit at the box office thanks to a brilliant performance by Liam Neeson (A-Team), so much so that they planning a sequel film but Liam is wary of reprising his role.

The makeshift action star is more interested in taking time away from the industry than devoting a chunk of time into the project. It certainly seems that you cannot place a price on personal tranquility.

The film itself is currently in the working stages of pre-production, as directors and the like are being sorted out, with Transporter 3 director Olivier Megaton being tapped to helm the project.
Unkown - Liam's New Film
The Latest news we just got is that, "Liam Neeson and Luc Besson have come to a meeting of the minds and they have worked out the scheduling snafu that made him iffy for Taken 2. Neeson's reps at CAA are now closing the deal for Neeson to reprise what has become a signature role. Production is now being eyed for the year end or beginning of 2012. Neeson will stick to his plan to take the rest of the year off, after completing the Clash of the Titans sequel he's shooting in London."

GHOSTRIDER’s BLACKOUT
Johnny Whitworth

Blackout

Johnny Whitworth spoke a bit about his recent four-month stint filming Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance in Romania and Turkey, while doing press for his latest film Limitless, and then the actor revealed that he plays Blackout in the movie.

"I play the villian who, at the beginning, up until like page 70, is human," said Whitworth, "I'm not a very nice guy. I'm bad. I get turned into, for those who read 'Ghost Rider', the character Blackout. I get turned into him by the devil to complete my job. That gives me the fortitude to fight Ghost Rider and the supernatural abilities to compete on some level with that guy."

AMERICAN PIE’S REUNION
American Pie is set to return to the big screen!! With Jason Biggs, Seann William Scott and Eugene Levy will reportedly reprise their roles from the original American Pie trilogy.

American Pie became a direct-to-DVD cash cow for Universal after the original trilogy ended with 2003's American Wedding. This new film however, will mark the franchise's return to the big screen.

"Universal are in negotiations with Thomas Ian Nicholas, Tara Reid, Chris Klein, Mena Suvari and Jennifer Coolidge. The studio is hoping to bring back most of the original cast."

ROBOCOP RETURNS & BAD BOYS 3

Deadline reports that Josh Zetumer will tackle the script, which will re-imagine the 1987 classic. Padilha and Zetumer will be teaming up to reinvent the franchise.

BAD BOYS 3!! WHAT YOU GOING TO DO??
Well this has been circulating for a while, but it wasn’t ever confirmed… well it looks like we just a step closer to seeing Bad Boys 3.

Martin Lawrence & Will Smith
This interesting bit of news comes from Martin Lawrence and Will Smith themselves, as they both tweeted that, “we ain’t ready . . .Bad Boys 3 Na Na Na.”
But, we haven’t heard from any of their reps or the studios to confirm that the movie is on its way to being made.
We do think, however, that this is a reason for all you fans to get a little excited.

Bad Boys, Bad Boys, what you gonna do, what you gonna do, when they come back for you???

007's CANNIBAL & TOMB RAIDER DEFINITE RETURN...

007’s CANNIBAL

Thor (right), Odin played by Anthony Hopkins (center) & Loki (left)
The British press always has major details on 007, and they still do. The latest bit of news to come out of the British tabloids, is that, Oscar winner Sir Anthony Hopkins of Hannibal the Cannibal fame is "close to signing a deal" to play the villain in Bond 23.

"The only stumbling block seems to be the number of films he is signing up for. There is a chance the character they want him to play could become a regular feature, like Blofeld back in the day," according to the tabloid's source.

Seeing as how Hopkins has taken a slew of paycheck roles of late -- The Rite, The Wolfman, Beowulf and Thor all spring to mind -- it's not inconceivable that he could agree to play a Bond villain.

TOMB RAIDER DEFINITE RETURN…
Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft
Last year, Crystal Dynamics announced that they will be rebooting the Tomb Raider series of games with a new adventure that focuses on the origins of Lara Croft and her rise to fame as an archaeologist/slash adventurer.

The New Lara Croft for the GAME's SERIES
Now it seems that Hollywood will be doing much of the same. Miss Croft has had one of the more successful transitions from games to film, with two previous movie adventures starring Angelina Jolie.

It's clear the new game is taking a far different approach to portraying Lara, opting for a more realistic and less sexualized take. Should the movies follow suit? Mmm we not to sure about that.

FAST FIVE (TRAILER 2)

The Fast & The Furious

The Cast of The Fast and the Furious
When they originally made the Fast and the Furious, they never imagined that, that film would turn into a cult classic, and would dominate the racing genre in the film industry!! So much so, that studios, and producers alike would not dare to even try and make a film about street racing, because of fear that people would just assume that they trying to do another Fast & Furious and just not watch it.

The first film really set the bar, and all the follow ups after that never really lived up to the it. The First film was a breath of fresh air to racing films, and offered a relative balance of drama, and racing. Things that we sure you loved about it was, Dom and his team factor. The Beautiful but manly Michelle Rodiriguez and the ambitious Paul Walker.

Paul Walker (Left) & Tyrese Gibson (Right)
2 Fast 2 Furious was much more light hearted, and looking at the series so far, it was much needed. The Film could of been much better, but it did give us Brian's iconic Skyline and Roman Pierce played by Tyrese.

Han (Tokyo Drift)
Tokyo Drift gave us Drifiting. . .thats it...

Fast & Furious Brought back Brian and Dom back into the series but then gave us so much drama, Killed Letty!!! and then turned Dom into a SuperHero!! We werent to impressed with this film and it actually destroyed our faith in the future of this franchise!!
Fast & Furious

It turns out we werent the only 1's to feel this way. . . fans of the film hammered Vin Diesel (Producer) and the director of the film for this mess and for promising to bring Tyrese back but never because of his schedule conflicts.

The Boys are Back in Town

They then decided to really make a good film, by increasing the Budget, increasing the Stunts, Bringing in THE ROCK. . . and by bringing in other major players of the previous films back!!
To make this easily the best film in the franchise!! Even though they lost the street racing or any type of racing plot, this new criminal on the run plot, is a much needed breath of fresh air to the Franchise!!
Showing why Fast & Furious can be considered as one of the most successful franchises in our day in age, as its able to evolve.
FAST FIVE will be the second last film, one more film will be made in order to bring the curtain down on this wonderful franchise.

Hope you enjoy the trailer!!!

Priest (Trailer)

MEN IN BLACK 3 & DOOM REBOOT 3D

  • WHERE IS THE MEN IN BLACK??
Well we not exactly sure what’s going on with Men In Black 3, as they began filming at the end of last year, took a break that was preplanned, then when it was time to reconvene, they never!
Men In Black 3
The $200 million picture started shooting without a finished script last November. This isn’t an usual thing to do, but after 5 months into production the film still doesn’t have a complete screenplay.

"Sony Pictures started filming Men in Black III with only one act of the script set," explains the trade (source). "The studio built in a break in production that was scheduled to last from late December through mid-February, during which the remainder of the screenplay was supposed to be completed."

But now that break has been extended until the end of March, new scribe David Koepp has come in to work out "complex script issues involving time travel."

Tropic Thunder's Etan Cohen wrote the initial script, but Smith wanted to make changes to it. And the paper also indicates that tension between Sonnenfeld and producer Walter Parkes are further complicating matters. "The real evil here is Walter trying to impose his point of view on things," says another source. "And because he's so facile and he's got great hair, he wins the day a lot. But what sounds great never materializes into a screenplay."

well we will just have to wait and see if the film will make its winter release in 2012,or will the release date get pushed even further back

  • A NEW DOOM
DOOM (2005 film)
Looks like Universal is planning a 3D feature film reboot of Doom, the 2005 film adaptation that starred Dwayne Johnson, Karl Urban and Rosamund Pike.

The reboot is in "the early stages of development" and is looking for a screenwriter. They also claim that "the success of Paramount's G.I Joe: Rise of Cobra piqued their interest even more" in a Doom sequel.

There was talk back in 2008 that another Doom movie would take its inspiration from the forthcoming Doom 4 video game, which is slated for release later this year.
