Director Jonathan Liebesman, the man behind Clash of the Titans as well as
Battle: LA, is busy promoting his film
Battle: LA, but he still took some time to talk about his future project, the Clash of the Titans 2, or as its known, the Wrath of the Titans. The film starts shooting in a few days time, and his main aim is, not to make the film suck like its predecessor!!!
"The story just didn't work in the first movie. It's a rich source material, Greek mythology obviously, and you had such an amazing cast who are coming back and it just felt like a missed opportunity all around. I think what we're doing with this one is that we've had fantastic writers who are just focused on the heroes' journey, a much more sort of a return to just the simple joys of stuff, of why stories work. Then stylistically just ground it. Make it feel more real. Redesign the costumes so that they're more recognizable to what you'd expect from the time and juxtapose that reality with the fantasy of Greek mythology within this reality, within real camera work and stuff. I think that's a sort of fresh take on that genre, on the fantasy genre that we haven't yet seen. That's how we're approaching it."
Almost all the starts from the first film will be returning, and Liebesman would just hope that this time around he could utilize them better.

Clash Of The Titans |
"That's what we're trying to milk in this one," he says. "You've got some of the best f#@king actors working today in Ralph [Fiennes] and Liam [Neeson] and in Sam [
Worthington]. How do you use them this time, use their ability as opposed to… and again, I don't know what happened on the first movie. It's just an obvious missed opportunity. I was there on the opening day looking very forward to it and felt like many."
The film will be converted into 3D post-production once again, but this time they said the process would be different, as the 3D sucked in the first film!!
This doesn’t even make sense if you ask us… Why would you want to remake this film, why???

Kevin Costner & Whitney Houston in the BobyGuard |
Dan Lin is producing the redo of the classic romantic thriller with Jeremiah Friedman and Nick Palmer scripting.
Dan Lin stated that, "The new version is similar, including the love story, but here the bodyguard will be a former
Iraq war veteran who gets the job protecting the star as his first gig after leaving the Army. He discovers that the world of Twitter, Google Maps and TMZ has made access to celebrities easier than ever, making the job more difficult than ever. The goal is to take a young female singer with global appeal and give her the platform that The Bodyguard did
Houston."
So who do you think will headline this film, Channing Tatum and Rihanna? Or Chris Evans and Christina Aguilera? Or Idris Elba and Beyonce? You tell us who you think…
Three more actors have joined the cast of Ridley’s Scotts, Prometheus! And one of the actors that joined the film is Rock n Rolla star Idris Elba.
It doesn’t stop with him either, two more actors has joined the film, Sean Harris (24 Hour Party People) and Kate Dickie (
Red Road). Join the previously announced Charlize Theron, Michael Fassbender and Noomi Rapace.
No word yet on who the actors will play, and director Scott said, "It's the story of creation, the gods and the man who stood against them."
Production starts in three weeks.
