Brad Pitt, Denzel Washington and Christoph Waltz, are all
interetested in Candy Store also piqued the interest of Jamie Foxx, Christian
Bale, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon and Bradley Cooper. However it would seem that
Thor’s Chris Hemsworth will be the one to get the role.
The story follows an elite, highly trained deep-cover operative
who loses everything, ultimately disappearing into Brooklyn, where he must
start again. He washes up as a beat cop, only to discover the global
organization he was dedicated to fighting is also operating in his new
backyard.
There’s no start date for Candy Store as of yet.
Well that’s not quite where the Hemsworth news ends.
Older Brother Chris might star alongside younger brother
Liam in Triumph. The McQueen picture isn’t the one being developed by Jeremy
Renner, but rather a competing picture written by Brandon and Phillip Murphy
(The Last Drop). The picture centers on the professional friendship between
McQueen and his stunt double, Bud Elkins. No director is attached at the
moment.

No word if Liam would be playing McQueen with Chris playing
Elkins or vicer versa. It does mean that these two talented brothers get to
star in a film together, which should make many Hunger Games fan girls and
Avengers fan boys excited.
