WEREWOLF & TROLL HUNTER

  • WOLFMAN GETS TURNED INTO WEREWOLF

It would seem that any hope for Joe Johnson’s, Wolfman to get a sequel will be scrapped in favour of reboot instead.

According to our source, in order to distance the new film, from its predecessor, will be entitled Werewolf.

So far, Universal has Michael Tabb rewriting the script to fit with the new direction, and the studio will start talking to directors in the coming weeks, with the studio hoping to start filming in September/November.

  • NORWEGIAN TROLL HUNTER GOING TO GET HOLLYWOOD TREATMENT

Filmmaker Chris Columbus is planning to remake the recent Norwegian monster flick Troll Hunter.

Columbus' 1492 Pictures will produce the remake along with CJ Entertainment & Media. Marc Haimes has been hired to script the redo of the original Andre Ovredal film.

"Troll Hunter was a visceral, thrilling cinematic rock and roller coaster ride of a movie. Visually, there are scenes in this film that American audiences have never seen. We want to introduce an International audience to this amazing moviegoing experience!" Columbus told Deadline.
