G.I. JOE 2: COBRA STRIKES

• THE COBRA RISED!! NOW IT STRIKES!!!

G.I. Joe 2 will start filming in August and is scheduled to finalize by the end of November, with the film shooting in New Orleans.

The sequel will be entitled, G.I. Joe 2: Cobra Strikes. Now, this is where we kind of put off by the film already. Director Jon Chu had stated that he has his own vision for the film. But, the first film was entitled G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra, now the sequel’s title already gives us a sign of continuity. What we do know though is that this film will be a reboot/sequel… So how does that work?? As most of the cast will not be returning, and the only aspect of the previous that we know they will be using for sure, is that Zartan will still being embodying the USA president. THAT’S IT!!

So it’s a reboot that keeps ties to a previous film, making it a sequel but it’s going to be completely redone?? That’s just about right…

Channing Tatum will reprise his role as Duke with Jon Chu directing. Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick scripted.
