With Taken 2 set to shoot later this month, the production
has found its villain in the shape of Serbian actor Rade Sherbedgia.
Best known for his roles in Batman Begins and Snatch,
Sherbedgia will play the father of a kidnapper killed by Liam Neeson's
character Bryan Mills in the first film.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the story will revolve
around Murad taking Mills and his wife hostage, with their daughter having to
step up and save them.
Famke Janssen and Maggie Grace will return for the sequel,
which will be directed by Olivier Megaton from a script by Luc Besson and
Robert Mark Kamen. Release date is October 5, 2012.
