- COLLIDER
Paramount has teamed up director Edgar Wright (Shaun of the
Dead) with screenwriter Mark Protosevich (I Am Legend) for Collider, Collider
reports (Yes we know, how ironic).
The sci-fi film will be directed and co-written by Wright,
who will also share producing credits along with J.J. Abrams and Nira Park of
Bad Robot.

Deadline reports that Paramount is teaming the talent of
Wright and Protosevich for Collider, based on an original idea by Wright. Protosevich is currently involved with the
remake of Chan-wook Park’s Oldboy, which is being directed by Spike Lee and
stars Josh Brolin. Protosevich’s future
works also include a feature adaptation of the hit video game Mass Effect and
the reboot, Jurassic Park 4.
Wright, meanwhile, is busy completing The World’s End, his
“blood and ice cream trilogy” with stars Nick Frost and Simon Pegg. The
recently greenlit sci-fi comedy features a group of friends who reunite in
order to complete an unfinished pub crawl, with the final stop at the bar named
The World’s End. You may have also heard
about Wright’s recent tests of Marvel’s Ant-Man which was recently screened at
Comic-Con for the gathered masses.
We just wondering after Worlds End what will come first?
Will it be Ant-Man or Collider?? Let us know and comment below…
