- TEN
Terminator: Salvation star Sam Worthington may soon be
teaming up with the Terminator himself.
Variety reports that Worthington is now in early talks to
star alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in director David Ayer’s (Harsh Times)
actioner thriller Ten.

The film is an action take on Agatha Christie’s Ten Little
Indians and centers on a DEA task force who heists a drug cartel safe house,
only to start getting picked off by an assassin.
Variety reports, Worthington has an offer to join the
project that he plans to accept, but formal negotiations have to be done
first. The script was written by Skip
Woods (X-Men Origins: Wolverine), and Ayer is no stranger to cop dramas. He wrote Training Day and S.W.A.T., and his
next directorial feature is the promising End of Watch, starring Jake
Gyllenhaal and Michael Pena.
Worthington has the motion-capture actioner Thunder Run and
the Avatar sequels on the horizon, but Ayer works quickly so it sounds like
he’ll be able to fit Ten into his schedule.
Schwarzenegger recently completed The Last Stand and The Tomb, and last
we heard he planned to make Unknown Soldier, directed by Act of Valor’s Mike
McCoy and Scott Waugh, his next project.
Variety’s report doesn’t specify how soon production on Ten would begin,
however we think it’ll be fairly soon.
