BOND 23 (Cast News)

  • BOND 23

Ben Whishaw
Looks to be start filming later this year, and for a James Bond film the rumor mill has been a bit too quiet. However we do have quite a big story for you this week.

According to Coming Soon, British actor Ben Whishaw (The Tempest, Bright Star) may be "attached" to play an unspecified role in the Sam Mendes-directed sequel.

Whishaw has appeared opposite Bond star Daniel Craig in two other films, Layer Cake and Enduring Love. His other credits include Perfume: The Story of a Murderer, The International, Brideshead Revisited, I'm Not There, and Stoned, where he played Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards.

More intriguingly, Coming Soon claims "that the two 'Bond Girls' this time around will be a 'beautiful English Agent' and a 'Beautiful Asian woman' named 'Severin.' With Dame Judi Dench returning as M and Naomie Harris being rumored to be a part of the movie playing the new Moneypenny, that means there are two other female roles to be cast."
