In related news, Variety reports that actor Walton Goggins (Justified, Predators, Cowboys & Aliens) has now joined the cast as "Warden Nigel James," a new character to the Joe lore.
The cast also includes Channing Tatum, Adrianne Palicki and Ray Stevenson. Bruce Willis remains in talks to co-star as General Joe Colton, the strike force's founding member.
It ain't much, but Hugh Jackman gave fans a brief update on the status of his delayed sequel, The Wolverine.
The Aussie action star says in the new issue of Entertainment Weekly, "It starts shooting in mid-October. You know James Mangold is directing it. You know it's set in Japan. We have not really cast it yet, so there's not a lot to tell you. Any other elements of the script I tell you, I'd have to kill ya."
