Showbiz 411 claims that Cooper -- currently seen on-screen as Howard Stark in Captain America: The First Avenger -- is up for a role in Gotti: In The Shadow Of My Father. The Brit actor would play John Gotti, Jr. to John Travolta's elder mob boss in the Barry Levinson-directed biopic.
It was announced earlier today that Gotti starts filming in New York in January. Al Pacino, Joe Pesci and Kelly Preston also star.
Gotti: In The Shadow Of My Father reveals the relationship of a father who lived and died by the mob code and a son who chose to leave that world behind and redeem himself.
