No one really for saw that Mission Impossible: Ghost  Protocol, the fourth enrty in this franchise, would turn out to be the best one so far, in a film series that seems just to be getting better and better as it goes along.

Now with the film doing well at the Box office as well, it would seem that the studio execs. are looking at getting the 5^th film up and running as soon as possible.

Moviehole’s sources at Paramount say "[production company] Skydance definitely wants to get going quickly on [Mission] 5." Additionally, the outfit also wants to push ahead with the rumoured Top Gun sequel. Both films would star Tom Cruise.
