Kit Harington (Game of Thrones) is up for a role in DreamWorks Animation’s How to Train Your Dragon 2. The sequel to the 2010 hit features the return of Jay Baruchel, Gerard Butler, America Ferrera, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Kristen Wiig, Craig Ferguson, T.J. Miller, Jonah Hill and more in the vocal cast, in addition to the fine assortment of scaly beasts on screen.
Variety reports that Harington is in negotiations to voice an antagonistic warrior in the How to Train Your Dragon sequel.
The second iteration sees the return of co-writer and co-director Dean DeBlois who will write and direct once again. Previous co-writer and co-director Sean Anders will executive producer with DeBlois, while Bonnie Arnold returns to produce.
How to Train Your Dragon 2 is set for a June 20th, 2014 release date. Few details have been released for the second part of a planned trilogy based on the best-selling books by Cressida Cowell.
