Superman: Man of Steel & The Brothers Grimm: Snow White


  • LOIS LANE IS A FIGHTER

Oscar nominee Amy Adams has been cast as Lois Lane in the Superman reboot.

Director Zack Snyder revealed that the actress won him over after he had met with her and he felt that she is the perfect person to be playing the independent Daily Planet reporter, Lois Lane, as she embodies all the characters qualities; smart, tough, funny, warm, ambitious and, of course, beautiful.
 Zack Snyder also revealed that the, Enchanted & The Fighter, Actress received the news last Sunday.

"It goes back to what I've said about Superman and making him really understandable for today. What's important to us is making him relevant and real and making him empathetic to today's audience so that we understand the decisions he makes. That applies to Lois as well. She has to be in the same universe as him [in tone and substance]," said Snyder.

Adams joins a cast that includes Henry Cavill as Superman, Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent and Diane Lane as Martha Kent, and its said that Viggo Mortensen is circling the role of General Zod. ."

In an interview Amy shared her thoughts on the matter, "what I love about Lois Lane is that she's been very consistently strong, successful, independent. I'm very attracted to that. What I loved about her was that she was able to be smart and be feminine and I think that that's something I know I'm going to teach my daughter, that you don't have to be a man to be powerful. You can be a powerful woman."

  • LOVELY SNOW WHITE BONES

Saoirse Ronan
Universal have started casting on there adaption of Snow White, called The Brothers Grimm: Snow White.

Armie Hammer
Our source reveals that Saoirse Ronan star of Lovely Bones and Hanna is in "discussions" to play the title role of the young princess. The Irish actress would be starring alongside Julia Roberts who will be playing the Wicked Queen.

In other casting news, Universal has just signed Social Network actor Armie Hammer as Prince Charming, aka Prince Andrew Alcott.

This Snow White, will be one of three versions currently in development and scheduled to release next year. Tarsem Singh directs.
