MAGIC MAGIC

  • SCOTT PILGRAM TAKES ON MAGIC

After the disappointing box office return from his last comedy, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, Michael Cera decides that he will be leaving the comedy genre for now, and will try his hand in a dramatic thriller.

Variety reports that Cera will star in the indie film Magic, Magic for writer-director Sebastian Silva.

The trade says Magic, Magic "revolves around a girl vacationing with her friends in a remote area of Chile who slowly starts losing her mental faculties. She tries to get her friends' attention, but they ignore her until it's too late."

A start date won't be set until the female lead is cast.
