GAMBIT

  • A KING, A KNIGHT, AND A GAMBIT

Stanley Tucci and Cloris Leachman are the most recent cast members to have joined the cast, of Michael Hoffman’s crime-comedy, Gambit, which also stars Alan Rickman, Sir Tom Courtenay, the gorgeous, Cameron Diaz (Knight & Day) and the king, Colin Firth (Kings Speech).

Cameron Diaz & Colin Firth
In the movie written by Joel and Ethan Coen (The Coen Brothers last film, was True Grit), Firth plays British art curator Harry Deane, who devises a finely-crafted scheme to con England's richest man and avid art collector, Lionel Shabandar, (Rickman) into purchasing a fake Monet painting. In order to bait his buyer, he recruits a Texas rodeo queen (Diaz) to cross the pond and pose as a woman whose grandfather liberated the painting at the end of WWII.

The film will also be shooting in New Mexico later in the production. No news on the release date as yet.
