PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 5

  • PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 5

Terry Rossio, who co-wrote the newest Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides film, has turned in his script to Disney for a possible fifth movie in the popular pirate franchise.

It was Rossio's first script for a "Pirates" movie written, without his partner and friend, Ted Elliot.

Producer Jerry Bruckheimer is interested in making another film, and the studios have already approached director Rob Marshall to do the next film.

But, it would seem that Johnny Depp isn’t quite sold on the idea as yet. And what’s a Pirates of the Caribbean film, without its star player??

This is what Johnny Depp had to say about the next film, "It boils down to story, script and filmmaker... It's not something where I would say, 'Let's shoot it next month to get it out by Christmas 2012.' We should hold off for a bit. They should be special, just like they are special to me."

Pirates of the Caribbean releases on the 20th of May.
