Rodrigo Santoro is now officially set to return as the Persian
god-king Xerxes for Noam Murro's Spartan sequel 300: Battle of Artemisia. The
actor will be joining Eva Green, Sullivan Stapleton and Jamie Blackley.
According to Deadline, Santoro will reprise his role as
one of two villains, the other villain for the film will be Green's character
Artemisia. The film is scheduled to begin production this summer.
In addition to the 300 sequel, Rodrigo will also be
appearing in Arnold Schwarzenegger's The Last Stand as well as Heleno, a
foreign film based on the world-famous soccer player Heleno de Freitas.
