Jessica Biel has reportedly joined the cast of Alfred
Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho for director Sacha Gervasi.

"Biel will play the role of Vera Miles, who played Lila
Crane in the 1960 classic," according to Deadline. The site claims the
Total Recall and A-Team actress beat out a number of other contenders for the
role.
The pic chronicles the relationship between director
Hitchcock (Anthony Hopkins) and his wife Alma Reville (Helen Mirren) as he
struggled to get his horror movie Psycho made in 1960.
Scarlett Johansson will play Janet Leigh opposite James
D'Arcy as Anthony Perkins. The cast of Psycho are reportedly supporting
characters in Gervasi's film.
Variety then reports, four more names has been added to the
cast of the film. Toni Collette (The United States of Tara), Danny Huston (30
Days of Night), Michael Stuhlbarg (Boardwalk Empire) and Michael Wincott (The
Crow) are said to be in negotiations. Colette will play Hitch's assistant Peggy
Robertson, Huston will play Alma's screenwriter friend Whitfield Cook,
Stuhlbarg will play powerful Hollywood agent Lew Wasserman, and Wincott will
play serial killer Ed Gein, the inspiration for Norman Bates.
