Leonardo goes Twilight

More disheartening fans for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans the world over, as Twilight star, Taylor Lautner has been cast as Leonardo, Screen Rant reports.

Michael Bay once again too to his site to reveal the news to fans, in his over arrogant, pompous, style:

Taylor Lautner will be Leonardo... Agh

“Everyone here is really excited to have Taylor on board. He’s already an awesome martial artist and really fits the mold of the exciting Turtles movie that we have planned [...] Some people hate on Taylor but everyone just needs to relax.

He’s a great actor. Everyone just complains about him because of Twilight. But did you see him in Abduction? No? Then relax. I’ve said this before. We know what we are doing and are going to deliver a fun Turtles movie. A lot of pissed off fans are going to have their tails between their legs by the time the movie releases.”

This clearly seems like the film will be going a goofier, star studded, money grabbing root, instead of being a little more serious and gritty.

We don’t have a problem with Taylor being cast in the film, just not as Leonardo!!

Leonardo and Donatello suppose to be a little more serious, more mature type characters, with Michelangelo and Raphael being the ones that take life a little bit easier than the other 2 turtles.

So if Taylor, is taking on Leonardo then there isn’t probably any hope for the other turtles to be taken seriously.
