A few weeks back, Showbiz 411 reported that Michael Douglas
was joining Last Vegas, CBS Film's latest comedy pic. Now, it looks like Robert
De Niro is set to join him.
According to Vulture, the studio is currently in final
negotiations with De Niro to star opposite Douglas in a script by Dan Fogelman
(Crazy, Stupid, Love). The twosome would play oldsters who both fall for the
same "girl." The film is described as The Hangover for golden agers
-- four men of a certain age head out to Vegas for a bachelor party.
Jon Turteltaub (National Treasure) is set to direct the
film. The next step is getting Christopher Walken on board, but not before
finalizing a deal with De Niro.
