Chris Hemsworth is The Huntsman

Even though Snow White and the Huntsman isn't due to hit theaters for several more weeks, Universal is currently in negotiations with screenwriter David Koepp to pen a sequel to the intriguing black fantasy film.

Koepp's credits include Jurassic Park, Spider-Man and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Deadline reports that the studio plans to fast-track the project so that Rupert Sanders can return to direct. Even though the first film has faced some direct competition -- Relativity's Mirror Mirror at the fore -- it sounds like Uni hasn't been fazed. 

Charlize Theron is Badass!!

What we can add to this, is that a little while back we did report that the sequel will be more focused on the Huntsmen as opposed to Snow White. So we still not sure, if that means that Kirsten Stewart and Charlize Theron will return for the sequel. What we do know is that Chris Hemsworth will be a very busy man for the next few years, whether his wielding a Hammer or a Axe.
