Director Justin Lin looks to have his sights set on another
action star for his upcoming Fast & Furious 6. Jason Statham might not be
in Fast Six but another kick-ass babe will be, as The Hollywood Reporter brings
word that MMA fighter and Haywire star Gina Carano is up for a role in the May
24, 2013 release.
Produced by Neal Moritz, the franchise has grossed over $1.5
billion worldwide with the recent Fast Five having grossed nearly $600 million
globally on its own.
Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson are confirmed to
be returning, though much of the supporting cast of the last film are likely as
well. Details of the plot are currently few but Six, like Five, is expected to
be a heist film.
All of a sudden we feel that Six might even be better than
Five!! Gina Carano, Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Dwanye Johnson, Paul
Walker and Vin Diesel?? That’s a cast that any Hollywood production would love
to have.
