THE DARK KNIGHT RISES (Filming Location)

Christian Bale as Batman on Set
The Dark Knight looks set to end filming pretty soon but not before they film the last few scenes in New York!!

The film looks set to film on Wall Street and it looks like Christopher Nolan plans on using the current Wall Street demonstrators as part of the film in some way or another.

Los Angeles Times reports that The Dark Knight Rises will arrive in New York City on October 29 for 14 days of shooting, which very well might include filming scenes at the ongoing protests.

"While it's unclear what shape the protean movement will take in the coming weeks, the demonstrations will almost certainly be continuing during the period that The Dark Knight Rises shoots in New York. While the person who'd been told of the plans said the protests could figure into the production, they said that doesn't mean they will be included in the storyline," according to the paper. "In other words, Nolan, who's known for carefully planning out scenes months in advance, wouldn't necessarily be tweaking the script; he'd simply be using the protests as a backdrop or a stand-in for something that already exists in the film."
