- IRON MAN HEADING TO NORTH CAROLINA
Iron Man 3 is reportedly trading in Southern California for
North Carolina.

According to a secret Marvel source for Latino Review,
"it's 90% likely that Iron Man's next Avenger-less outing will be shot in
the Port City of Wilmington, North Carolina. It's said to be a massive affair
with Marvel taking over 10 sound stages at Screen Gems studios. Sets are likely
being built now as production crews have been spotted over the past week. Once
the sets are completed this upcoming May, shooting will commence until
June."
As the site reminds us, Wilmington was a thriving filming
location back in the '80s and '90s, where it was home to The Crow, Teenage
Mutant Ninja Turtles, Super Mario Bros. and Dawson's Creek. It most recently
hosted The Hunger Games and Journey 2: The Mysterious Island.
The Shane Black-directed Iron Man 3 opens May 3, 2013.
