Other rumored cast members include Russell Crowe as Javert, Geoffrey Rush as Thenardier, and Helena Bonham Carter as Madame Thenardier. (Rush played Javery in director Bille August's 1998 adaptation.)
Hayden Panettiere, Miranda Cosgrove, Lucy Hale and Emma Watson have all been linked with the roles of Eponine and Cosette. Production begins next spring in the U.K.

Days after confirming that Bruce Willis had officially joined the film, Dwayne Johnson continues his penchant of tweeting who has been cast in the now-filming sequel, G.I. Joe: Retaliation.

Comedian-actor DeRay Davis (Barbershop, Code Name: The Cleaner, Scary Movie 4) has been cast in an unspecified role, although he jokingly tweeted that he plays "ol dude." Davis has tweeted that he's shot scenes with both Johnson, who plays Roadblock, and Channing Tatum, who reprises his role as Duke.
