- STAR TREK 2 ITS OFFICIAL!!
Now its official… after months and months of speculation and
JJ Abrams taking his own time to sign on, we can finally say its OFFICIAL!!! JJ
ABRAMS is directing STAR TREK 2!!!
Now while this is no great shock, Abrams until now has yet
to confirm his directorial involvement with the project. And of course, he has
a history of passing the reigns to other directors and moving into a producer's
role Eg. Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol.
But Vulture has confirmed that Abrams has committed to Star
Trek 2. Pre-production is well underway, the script will be finished by the
month's end and Abrams will start the shoot sometime this winter.
