- BELLA TO BE AKIRA?? OH NO!!
Twilight's Kristen Stewart has been offered the female lead
in Warner Bros.' adaptation of Akira.
Twitch has the report on the live-action take on Katsuhiro
Otomo's classic anime. Jaume Collet-Sera (Orphan) is directing the film.
If she accepts the job, Stewart will play Kei, the love
interest of Kaneda. Garrett Hedlund (Tron: Legacy) has reportedly been offered
that role.
Gary Oldman and Helena Bonham Carter are also said to be up
for parts in the film.
Well all we know is that fans of Akira are dreading this,
they really don’t want Kirsten to take over this Anime icon, what do you think
of Kirsten going anime??
