- CAPTAIN NEMO TO GET CAPTAIN AMERICA'S GIRL
Having
proved that she was more than a match for Captain America, it seems Hayley
Atwell is now attached to The Return Of
Captain Nemo.
Atwell joins
Hugh Bonneville in the film, with Pearry Teo attached to direct in 3D.

This
semi-sequel to Jules Verne’s tale finds Nemo languishing in prison until he’s
sprung loose by Atwell’s uncle (David Morrissey) who also happens to be chief
adviser to US president Ulysses S Grant. Turns out there is a plague of sea
monsters sinking ships along the Atlantic coast, crafted by an evil genius
intent on attacking America. Despite his dangerous side, Nemo is cearly the man
to help.
Despite the
film’s seemingly thrifty $10 million budget, the producers appear to be having
trouble locking in the details, and the shooting locale has now been switched
from China to Romania. It’ll also use a 300-style,
green screen-heavy shooting method. But we are promised fun elements such as a
Steampunk-flavoured, airship Air Force One.
