- ANOTHER FRIDAY IN THE WORKS
Chris Tucker is currently in serious talks with Ice Cube to
reprise his role as Smokey in another installment of the Friday series.
According to TMZ, Cube has had discussions with Tucker, but
no formal offer has been made just yet. Tucker, who starred in the original
Friday, had previously stated that he had no interest in returning to the
franchise, citing religious reasons. But now, it sounds like Tucker is at least
willing to consider making an appearance in the fourth movie.
Cube himself is still in talks to write and produce the
film. He may also be in line to direct, but negotiations with New Line Cinema
are still being hashed out.
