Director Rupert Sanders had a good year at the box office
this summer with Universal's Snow White and the Huntsman. On the other hand,
considering his well-publicized scandal with Snow White star Kristen Stewart,
the potential franchise has gone a bit sour in terms of sequels.
According to Twitch, Sanders is now looking to adapt
Universal’s Van Helsing reboot, which has Tom Cruise attached to produce and
star. Star Trek scribes Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman have penned the script.
Cruise will likely make Van Helsing his next project once
he's done shooting All You Need is Kill, and that means Sanders would need to
sign onto the project like yesterday.
