Two boxing heavyweights will soon collide as the Italian
Stallion, Mr. Expendable himself, Sylvester “Rocky” Stallone and the Greatest
of All Time, the Godfather, the Taxi Driver, the Raging Bull, Robert De Niro
sign on for the Grudge Match. Warener Bro’s has officially signed on to the
film with Peter Seagal directing.

The film follows two retired fighters who put on the gloves
for one last bout. With the most recent
draft turned in by Doug Ellin (Entourage), the studio has given this one the
go-ahead.
Few details are available as to the film’s plot, but looking
at the pedigree of Segal and Ellin, its bound to be something of a sports
comedy.
As proof to this Kevin Hart (The 40 Year Old Virgin) has
signed on as the titular match’s fight promoter who gets both brawlers back in
the ring.
