Thor: The Dark World
We previously learned from a stunt man that Thor 2 may be featuring Dark Elves as a villainous threat, offering an explanation for the film’s title, Thor: The Dark World, however looking at the latest casting calls it would seem that Thor might end up venturing into more realms than just the Asgard, and Midgard.

The Casting Collective and Universal Extras and appears to be casting for Asgardian people (the blondes), soldiers, fire jötunn (men of fire) and elves (hot bodies and tattoos), as Thor: the Dark World begins principal photography next month in the UK.

Bleeding Cool also discovered that underground shooting locations are being explored in London, which could facilitate sets involving Dark Elves.

Some more info has leaked out regarding Marvel's Thor: The Dark World. According to Bleeding Cool several scenes in the movie will be shot underground, here's what they had to report...

“Some long tunnels in London will be used for the filming of scenes that, as yet, we haven’t been able to confirm as taking place on Earth, on Asgard or elsewhere. A long tunnel is a long tunnel, though, and when it’s dressed it could be anywhere. But a good long shot, down a real, long tunnel can’t be easily faked on a soundstage.”

So this pretty much confirms that the Dark Elves will be involved in the story.

The Nine Realms
The Thor sequel is being directed by Alan Taylor and stars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, Idris Elba, Stellan Skarsgård, Zachary Levi, Ray Stevenson, Jaimie Alexander and Tadanobu Asano.
