- ANT-MAN
Director Edgar Wright has been working on a Ant-Man film for
many, many years now. He had recently showed test footage at comic-con this
year, where it was said that he nailed the big/small transition powers/effects.
Now we haven’t seen it this footage just like everyone else in the world who
didn’t go to comic-con, but we just might get to see it soon!
Marvel executive Victoria Alonso recently spoke with Omelete
(via Collider), saying:
“What we showed at Comic-Con was a work in progress. We’re working on finishing it, and I think
you might see it. Not sure where, but we
always listen to the fans. And if the
fans demand it we make sure they get it.
I don’t know if we are going to post it online, but I don’t have [any
reason] to believe we may not.”
Edgar Wright will direct Ant-Man |
But Alonso is optimistic that Wright will direct Ant-Man
after he wraps on The World’s End:
“Edgar is on board to do it.
He’s going to do one movie before… He wrote a great script and we’re
hoping that he will come and work with us.”
Recently, it was suggested that Ant-Man could shoot as early
as next year in London for a 2014 release.
