- SHERLOCK HOLMES 3
Robert Downey Jr. is currently busy shooting the third
installment of his Marvel franchise Iron Man, however he still has another
franchise that might soon be turning into a trilogy.
The success of
Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (it grossed over $540 million worldwide) encouraged
Warner Bros. to start working on a third film in the franchise, as the studio
hired Iron Man 3 scribe Drew Pearce to handle the screenplay last October.
Collider managed to sneak in a question about the third
Holmes movie, when they were speaking with Jude Law at the Tornoto Film
Festival.

“No I don’t yet, Law said when asked if the third film is in
the worked. “I mean there’s certainly talk of it and I know there’s a script
being played around with, but Downey’s a busy boy and I’m a busy boy so we’ll
see. But we want to [do another
one]. We’re a very happy team and we
have a lot of fun and we also think there’s still a lot of legs in the duo.”
Well it isn’t much to go on but we do hope we get to see a
Third film come to fruition soon.
