Elizabeth Olsen, better known as the little sister of the twin mega sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley, is currently in early talks to co-star opposite Josh Brolin in Mandate's remake of Oldboy.
The young actress has already been offered the part according to The Hollywood Reporter. Olsen would be playing a caseworker, "who helps investigate the past of the character being played by Brolin, a man kidnapped and imprisoned for 15 years and inexplicably released." Sources say a deal with Olsen is likely.
Spike Lee is directing, and Mark Protosevich has written the screenplay.
Olsen will next be seen in Open Road's new thriller Silent House, which opens on March 9.
