Channing Tatum proved that he couldn’t do much wrong this
year as he had a string of successful films that include, The Vow, 21 Jump
Street and Magic Mike. Not to mention the fact that his role in GI Joe:

So what’s next for Channing Tatum? How about starring as the
legendary Evel Knievel, in a biopic of the daredevil’s life, which Tatum will
also be producing. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tatum has entered into
talks with Sony.

Tatum will produce the film with production partner Reid
Carolin, who will also write the screenplay, based on Stuart Barker's 2008 book
Life of Evel. Life of Evel is described by Amazon as 'a searching and at times
harrowing re-appraisal of the life of Evel Knievel, the seventies American icon
and the greatest daredevil motorcyclist that ever lived.'
Mike DeLuca and Dana Brunetti (The Social Network) are also
on board to produce, fresh off the heels of landing producing roles for
Hollywood hot property Fifty Shades of Grey.
