- NEED FOR SPEED
A while back it was announced that the game Need for Speed
would be adapted into a film. DreamWorks Studios now announced the official
release date for the film, which will be February 7, 2014.
Scott Waugh will direct the feature film adaptation of EA's popular
video game franchise, which is said to be a fast-paced, high-octane film rooted
in the tradition of the great car culture films of the 70s while being
extremely faithful to the spirit of the video game franchise.
The release date has Need for Speed opening against Cloudy
2: Revenge of the Leftovers.
