Tom Hardy
Paramount wants The Dark Knight Rises star Tom Hardy to play shadowy CIA operative John Kelly, aka Clark, in their long-gestating adaptation of Tom Clancy's Without Remorse.

Deadline reports that Hardy's the studio's choice for the film, which is currently being rewritten by Oscar winner Christopher McQuarrie. Meanwhile, Kevin Costner will play Clark's mentor at the CIA, William Harper.

Interestingly enough, Costner's character, William Harper, will also serve as Jack Ryan's mentor in the upcoming movie starring Chris Pine and directed by Kenneth Branagh, making Harper sort of the Nick Fury of the Jack Ryan movies.

Based on Tom Clancy's novel of the same name, Without Remorse tracks how ex-Navy Seal John Kelly became CIA operative Clark. The character has previously been portrayed by Willem Dafoe in Clear and Present Danger and Liev Schreiber in Sum Of All Fears.
