THE GIRL WHO PLAYED WITH FIRE (In Development)

  • THE GIRL WHO PLAYED WITH FIRE

Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara to reprise their roles for The Girl Who Played with Fire
The Girl Who Played With Fire, the sequel to last year’s David Fincher-directed The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, will not be in theaters late next year as had originally been intended, as a source close to the production department of the film tells EW.

David Fincher, Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig
Dragon Tattoo screenwriter Steven Zaillian is still working on the script, and nothing will move forward until the screenplay is nailed down. Interesting enough, a director is not attached to the project even though Fincher has expressed his desire to return.

Despite that the film schedule is undetermined, the film is still definitely moving forward, although the source says that they are not in a rush and at this point there is no information about when it might be released.

However, both Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig are both locked in to reprise there respective roles for the sequel.

The Girl Who Played With Fire will most likely release in 2014.
