Recent reports suggest that Evans, who is currently filming
for Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit movies, has been tapped as the villain in the
sixth installment of The Fast and the Furious franchise.
Jason Statham previously turned down the role
in the Fast Five follow up when he was surprisingly unable to reach a deal with
Universal.
We still can’t confirm if Rihanna will be part of the film
in some capacity.
Those who stayed after the end credits of Fast Five will not
be surprised to learn that, despite her character's apparent demise earlier in
the franchise, Michelle Rodriguez is now confirmed by Variety to reprise her
role as Letty Ortiz in next year's Fast & Furious 6.
Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson are confirmed to
be returning for Fast & Furious 6 with many of the regulars expected to be
back as well and Gina Carano said to be in talks. Details of the plot are
currently few but Six, is expected to be a heist film and will shoot in Europe
beginning in June.
Michelle Rodriguez has seen her characters killed many times
in films, but now it looks like she is in the business of being resurrected, as
she returns from the dead in Fast Six, as well as Resident Evil: Retribution
(Where She died TWICE!).

Do you think she will manage to find her character resurrected
in Avatar 2?? We will have to just wait and see.
Fast & Furious 6 is scheduled for release on May 24,
2013 with the release date for Machete Kills still to be determined.
