Constantin Films has been quietly developing a new Tarzan
movie, right under our noses and now they have entered the casting stage. Twilight's Kellan Lutz and
Resident Evil's Spencer Locke are the first to join.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the new motion-capture
adaptation will feature Lutz in the title role, with Locke co-starring as
Tarzan's love interest Jane Porter. The film will also be developed for 3D
viewing.
In this latest updating of the Edgar Rice Burroughs tale,
the main villain is the CEO of Greystoke Industries, a man who usurped the
company previously run by Tarzan's deceased parents. Jane is a preservationist
and the daughter of an African guide who eventually works with Tarzan to take
down the mercenary army of Greystoke Industries.
Reinhard Klooss will direct the movie from a script he
co-wrote with Yoni Brenner and Jessica Postigo.
