In development at Fox Searchlight for some time, David Talbert's Baggage Claim is, according to Deadline, moving forward with Paula Patton in the lead.

 Talbert will write, direct and produce the movie based on his 2005 novel about a single flight attendant who jets around the country in search of a husband.

Patton, who appeared last year in Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, is slated to appear in the upcoming Disconnect and 2 Guns.
