Chloe Moretz is in talks to join the dramatic horror film Maggie, Variety reports. The script landed on the 2011 "Black List" of unproduced screenplays. Written by John Scott 3, it was given the following official synopsis:

“As a “walking dead” virus spreads across the country, a farm family helps their eldest daughter come to terms with her infection as she slowly becomes a flesh-eating zombie.”
Paddy Considine is attached to play the father and Moretz, who appears in this Friday's Dark Shadows, would play Maggie herself. She's also slated to soon play the title role in Carrie and is expected to reprise her role as Hit-Girl in Kick-Ass 2.
