- HUNGER GAMES 2 IS CATCHING FIRE
The Hunger Games is about two months out from release, but
there's still been plenty of chatter on the movie's confirmed sequel, Catching
Fire.

Back in November, we heard that Slumdog Millionaire and 127
Hours scribe Simon Beaufoy was in final talks to pen the screenplay for the
film and that Hunger Games director Gary Ross would likely be coming back for
round two as well. Today, both of those "probably's" become "definitely's."
The Wrap reports that Beaufoy is in the middle of writing
the script now. In addition to directing duties, Ross will also be supervising
the writing of the screenplay. Actors Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Woody
Harrelson and Liam Hemsworth are likewise expected to return.
Catching Fire is currently scheduled to hit theaters on
November 22, 2013.
With the Hunger Games releasing in March this year.
