Mixed martial arts fighter and Haywire star Gina Carano recently expressed an interest in playing Wonder Woman in the potential live-action film.

 Even though there isn’t any developing Wonder Woman project, we thinking you would agree in saying, wouldn’t it be lovely to see a chick really kick some ass??

When asked about the project, which Driver helmer Nicolas Winding Refn has also expressed interest in, Carano immediately took to the idea. "I would definitely be into working with [Refn]," said the actress in an interview with Vulture.

She then went on to say, "One of my favorite superhero movies is Hancock -- did you see it? If they could do a superhero movie in a more realistic fashion where you could actually believe in it, I would be up for that. It could still be playful, but that's what I'm representing -- the fighting would be real. More than anything, I would want Wonder Woman to be believable, you know?"

Nothing is concrete, but just to imagine Refn directing and Carano starring as Wonder Woman, would be a beautiful thing!

UPDATE: This story got us thinking about how cool it will be to see Gina Carano in a Wonder Woman film. So much so, that we decided that we wouldn't want to see a Justice League film!! Click Here to check out our Thoughts..
